Weekly planning
Write a few honest lines about the week and one practical thing to carry into the next one.
Before finishing work on Friday, give the week a little space on paper. You don't need a report, a dashboard, or a score for how productive you were.
Begin with something you want to remember. What worked? What was harder than expected? What would you like to do differently next time? Answer the questions that help, in a few sentences rather than a rigid form.
If something is unfinished, record where it stands and what happens next. Keep real commitments in your usual task system so the reflection doesn't become the only place an important deadline lives.
Choose one modest adjustment for next week: begin the draft earlier, leave more time for travel, or ask for help with a recurring obstacle. You don't need to redesign your whole working life at the end of Friday.
Close the note when you've captured enough. If the week was difficult, let it be difficult without manufacturing a lesson from every part. A useful review helps you return later without having to keep the whole week active in your mind over the weekend.
