A simple space routine: designate one landing spot for your bag to keep the entry flow lighter and cleaner.

At home, bags tend to drift: chair, sofa, under the table. A drifting bag keeps the room visually busy and makes the next exit feel scattered. One fixed spot simplifies that flow.
Near the entry: under a shelf, one side of a chair, or a small patch by the door. The key is not beauty but short movement. If the spot is too deep inside the home, the bag will end up anywhere.
Either the bag alone, or only what always travels with it: tumbler, card wallet, earbuds. Once mail, shopping bags, and parcels pile up, the spot becomes storage instead of a transfer point.
Open the door, take off shoes, set the bag down there. Fixing that order reduces the temptation to drop it just anywhere. Three conscious days are usually enough for the body to learn it.
Once the bag location is fixed, your eyes know where to go before leaving. It becomes easier to check for your laptop, charger, or receipts. Spatial order shows its effect most clearly in the morning.
