Weekly planning
Before finishing work, remember a few things that moved forward, including the quieter work that's easy to overlook.

Friday's unfinished list can make the whole week look incomplete. Before closing the laptop, write down three things that went better, moved forward, or became easier because of your effort.
They don't need to be headline achievements. Sending a difficult reply, helping a colleague understand something, making an appointment, or asking for support can belong on the page.
Use a sentence for each one. “Got the first draft to a point I can share” is more useful than trying to make it sound like an annual review. There's no character limit, score, or need to prove that every day was productive.
If you can only think of one, write one. A difficult week doesn't need a cheerful rewrite. You can acknowledge what was hard alongside anything you want to remember.
Leave the note where your future self can find it, then finish for the day. This isn't a report to submit. It's a small correction to the way unfinished work can crowd everything else out of memory.
Choose a scene and add your story. Start a diary of your own with Your Day.
