Weekly planning
Choose one drink this week and enjoy it without filling the pause with messages, news, or another task.

You pick up a coffee, then reach for your phone before the first sip. By the time the cup is empty, you've caught up on everything except the break you meant to take.
Choose one drink this week to have without a screen. It can be coffee, tea, decaf, or water. Find a few minutes when you won't need to respond immediately, and put your phone in a pocket or somewhere out of reach.
Sit if there's a seat. Notice the taste, the temperature, or what's happening around you. You don't have to turn it into meditation, planning, or a gratitude exercise. If you start making a mental to-do list, you can let it wait until you've finished.
You may only have five minutes. That's fine. The point is to give this particular pause a little room rather than make every coffee into a new daily obligation.
When you're ready, pick your phone up again. You haven't missed a productivity opportunity. You've used the break as a break.
Choose a scene and add your story. Start a diary of your own with Your Day.
