PAUSE
A weekly pause: drink one coffee or tea this week with no screen. Separate from the Monday first-coffee calendar routine.

Often the cup is in one hand and the phone is in the other. When sips and alerts share the same seat, rest and scrolling blur. This is not the Monday first-coffee calendar read. Here you do not open the week map. You only hold the cup.
You do not need this every day. Once this week is enough: decide that this cup has no screen.
A week needs short rest as well as tasks. It is like protecting an empty calendar block, but the tool is the cup. Perfect meditation is not the goal. It is reducing where your hands go for about ten minutes to one place.
1. Pick one day this week. A softer slot like Wednesday morning or Friday afternoon works well. You may block “coffee pause” on the calendar, or keep it only in mind.
2. Before you take the cup, flip the phone down or leave it in another room. Mute laptop alerts for a moment. Tea or decaf follows the same rule.
3. Give the cup about ten minutes. Aroma, warmth, first sip in that order is enough. If a to-do list appears, bring yourself back once: this cup, for now.
4. When it ends, you may pick the phone up again. If you already did it this week, wait until next week. You do not have to make it daily.
Do not open mail, calendar, or news in this slot. You do not need to stack it with the Monday coffee-calendar routine for a score. Do not fight the afternoon caffeine cutoff. Use tea or water for the same pause if that hour is late. Do not move this to a bedtime caffeine scene.
This week, one coffee without the phone. A short pause block inside the week.
