RUN
WALK
A commute routine: walk one stop farther before boarding so the morning starts with an intentional walk.

“Alight one stop early” adds walking at arrival. This routine adds it at departure. Leave home, walk one stop farther, then board.
A short morning walk is the day’s first rhythm while the body is still stiff. Same idea as parking farther away: lengthen the segment before you ride.
Pick the next stop beyond your usual board point. First week: mornings only. Keep it around 10-15 minutes. Skip when lateness risk is high.
No replies or short video while walking. One earbud or none; prioritize crossings and sightlines. Skip in rain or ice.
You do not need both ends on the same day. Alternate: farther boarding some days, early alighting on others.
