Spaces
Use a small container to group the things you reach for most, without reorganizing every drawer in the house.

A drawer can be full while the thing you need remains impossible to find. Pick the one you open most often and give its everyday contents a little structure.
Take the items out and remove anything that belongs elsewhere. Check that what's left can be stored together safely. Keep medicines, sharp objects, and loose batteries in storage appropriate to them rather than treating every small item alike.
Choose a shallow container that fits the drawer and allows it to close freely. Group a few related tools inside: perhaps measuring spoons and a timer, or stationery you use every day. Leave enough space to see and pick things up without emptying the whole drawer.
There isn't a magic number of items. If everything overlaps, reduce the contents or change the arrangement. Avoid buying a set of organizers before you know what needs a home.
Use the drawer for a few days before tackling another one. When putting something away is as easy as finding it, the arrangement has done its job. One drawer that works is already a useful change.
