Well-being
Sit down and try a little comfortable toe movement after a day in shoes, without pulling or forcing a stretch.
When you take off your shoes, give your feet a moment before moving straight to the next thing. Sit somewhere stable and notice whether anything feels sore, cramped, or irritated.
If it feels comfortable, gently spread your toes, then let them relax. You can make a few small movements with your feet resting on the floor. There's no need to wedge fingers between the toes, pull them apart, or use a stretching tool.
A minute or two is plenty of time to notice how your feet feel. Stop for pain or discomfort. If you have an injury, reduced sensation, diabetes-related foot concerns, or another foot condition, follow your clinician's advice rather than trying a new routine on your own.
Check whether your shoes are leaving pressure marks or repeatedly making your feet uncomfortable. Adjusting footwear may be more useful than adding another exercise.
Put your shoes away and continue with the evening. This pause doesn't need to promise better posture or relief elsewhere in the body. Your feet can deserve a little attention on their own.
