EAT

Swap your afternoon snack for a handful of nuts

Replace your afternoon snack with a handful of nuts to stabilize blood sugar and sustain focus.

오후 간식, 견과류 한 줌으로 바꾸기

Around 2-3 PM drowsiness hits and hands reach for sweets. The sugar spike fades in 30 minutes. A handful of nuts smooths that cycle.

Why nuts

Fat and protein together mean a slower blood-sugar rise. Small packages fit a desk drawer and make little noise. Almonds, walnuts, cashews all work.

How much is a handful

About 20-25g, what fits loosely in your palm. Pre-portion five bags on the weekend so weekdays need zero thought.

When to eat

Just before drowsiness, around 2:30-3 PM. Too late affects dinner. Pair with a glass of water for longer satiety.

Sustaining the habit

Week one: eat nuts first, allow one piece of chocolate if cravings persist. By week two the nuts alone carry the afternoon. Substitution beats prohibition.
