A weekly boundary: on Friday, move open tasks only onto next Monday instead of scattering them across the calendar.

By Friday evening, unfinished work is scattered across calendars and notes. Unlike a written review, this routine only answers where tasks go. The rule is simple: move them to next Monday only.
Sprinkling leftovers onto Tuesday through Thursday fills the week before it starts. One Monday pile lets you see what remains and redistribute once. One reshuffle costs less attention than many micro-moves.
Twelve minutes before leaving. Scan this week’s calendar, task app, and notes. Clear done items. Move every open item to next Monday (or a Monday morning block). No “quick park” on Wednesday.
Three wins or a Friday shutdown close emotion and work mode. This is a data-move rule. You can do both on Friday without overlapping the job.
After moving, close this week’s view. The weekend boundary is not reopening the list for “just a little more.”
