A shorter list makes the next step clearer
A lighter way to open the week
If Monday is on your mind Sunday night, write down one worry, one small first step, and one thing that can wait.

On Sunday night, Monday can arrive in your thoughts before it begins. Messages to answer, unfinished work, and the week’s calendar may all show up at once, making it hard to feel off duty.
Write just three lines. First, one thing you’re worried about tomorrow. Second, the smallest action you can take. Third, one thing that can wait until Monday. For example: “I’m worried about the meeting / open the file and check the outline / reply to the other emails tomorrow afternoon.”
You don’t have to solve everything you wrote down. The note isn’t a full plan for the week; it’s a way to remember your first step. Once it’s on paper, you can close the notebook and return to your evening.
If Monday worries follow you to bed on Sunday, try leaving those three lines for the morning. You don’t have to get everything in order before you’re allowed to rest.
