Everyday routines
Before opening the next task, notice your chair, screen, and feet, then adjust what doesn't feel right.

After lunch, you have a natural chance to sit down differently. Before returning to the document you left open, take a brief look at how the workspace meets you.
Are your feet supported comfortably? Can you reach the keyboard without stretching? Is the screen easy to read without leaning forward or twisting? Make one useful adjustment rather than trying to hold a perfect pose.
Use the chair's available support and a suitable footrest if you need one. Keep frequently used things close enough to reach easily. Move the screen or enlarge the text if that would be more comfortable.
Then change position again when you need to. Sitting still in an approved shape for hours isn't the goal. Short breaks and variety may be more practical than several alarms telling you to correct yourself.
If discomfort persists, seek advice about your setup or symptoms rather than repeatedly tightening your shoulders into position. Three minutes is plenty for this check. It should help you use the desk more comfortably, then let you get on with the afternoon.
