Weekly planning
Take a brief look at the coming week, note the appointments that need your attention, and leave the rest for later.
You don't always need a full planning session to feel more familiar with Monday. A short calendar check may be enough.
After dinner, open the coming week and notice three commitments that matter: perhaps a fixed meeting, an important deadline, and a personal appointment. Check the time and place, and note any obvious preparation or travel you need to remember.
Three is a limit for the exercise, not a reason to ignore other essential appointments. If something urgent needs a decision, handle or schedule it properly. Otherwise, leave drafting emails and reorganizing projects for work time.
Keep the note where you'll find it on Monday and close the calendar. If looking at work on Sunday makes the evening more stressful, move the check to Friday or Monday instead. Preparation should make the week easier to enter, without taking over the time before it.
