BREAK

Midway through long meetings, stand and move for 2 minutes

A wellness break: midway through long meetings or webinars, stand and move for two minutes to interrupt long sitting.

긴 회의 중간, 2분만 일어서 움직이기

Unlike neck rolls or desk breathing, the cue here is the middle of a long meeting. When a session runs past an hour, insert two minutes of movement halfway.

Why two minutes

Breaking long sitting often is easier to keep than one big workout at day’s end. Two minutes can change blood flow and posture without derailing the agenda.

How

If cameras can go off, stand. March in place, walk the corridor, or refill water. Online, you can note “2-minute stretch” in chat. In person, use the scheduled break the same way.

Not stairs or phone standing

One flight of stairs is a transit choice; standing on calls is a phone cue. This interrupts the middle of a seated meeting block.

When you cannot leave

If you are presenting or cannot step out, roll ankles seated or save the break for the next pause. Breaking long stillness often matters more than a perfect two minutes.
