Could This Conversation Be a Walking Call?일상

Some conversations need a screen, shared notes, or a private room. Others are a catch-up or a chance to talk through an idea. For those, a short walking call may be an option.

Ask the other person first. Choose a route you know, with a clear surface, little traffic, and somewhere safe to stop. Check that the sound and connection work well enough for the conversation.

Let the conversation set the pace

Keep the walk easy, stay aware of other people, and stop before crossing roads or handling the phone. Leave confidential topics for a private setting. If either person needs to take detailed notes, look at documents, or concentrate on a difficult subject, sit down instead.

Fifteen minutes is a possible length, not a reason to hurry someone through an important point. Have an accessible seated alternative and don't assume everyone wants or is able to walk.

Afterward, write down any agreed action while stationary. The idea is to offer another comfortable way to have a suitable conversation, rather than turn every meeting into exercise or make movement a condition of taking part.
