Spaces
At the end of a work session, notice the air around you and ventilate when it's safe and practical.

A break often means changing tabs while staying in the same seat. When a work session ends, look beyond the screen and notice how the room feels.
If outdoor air quality, weather, noise, and safety allow, open a window briefly. Stand back from it, change position, and give yourself a moment before beginning the next task. Keep children, pets, and security needs in mind.
There's no universal window width or number of minutes that suits every room. In poor outdoor conditions, use the ventilation options appropriate to your building rather than opening a window automatically.
Close or adjust it when needed, settle back in, and choose the next task. You haven't reorganized the room, but you have paused long enough to notice the space you're spending the day in.
